Student Admissions

Bedford Academy will consider all applications for places. Admissions into the Academy are organised alongside Bedford Borough Council.

Entry as a New Year 9 Student

Each year the Council distributes information packs via local Middle Schools on the admissions process for Upper Schools. Places need to be applied for and a completed application form needs to be returned to the Council by 31st October 2011. Places will then be allocated and parents will be informed the following spring.

Open Evening Success!

Prospective parents and students visited the Academy's Open Evening on Wednesday 28th September 2011 from 6pm en masse for a presentation, tour and the opportunity to meet with staff and current students!

Our 2012 intake of students will be the first to occupy our £22.5 million state-of-the-art New Build featuring the latest Science and Technology facilities and most modern Sports equipment and pitches! Visitors experienced first hand what the buzz about our Academy was all about!

Late Admissions and In-Year Transfers after this date can be made by contacting the School Admissions Service at Bedford Borough Council (contact details below).
