This term we have launched our new Student Receptionist Programme to Year 9 students, which will enable them to develop their skills and enhance their learning.
Students that are selected to be Student Receptionist will spend the day working with the Academy team, helping the Student Services Team, the Main Office and the Independent Learning Centre (ILC). Each day, the students will also have to undertake the ‘Principal’s Task.’ The role carries a great deal of responsibility and will be formally structured to ensure the student has a positive learning experience.
Being Student Receptionist is a privilege and students will be selected for this role by their Learning Village Leader. Learning Village Leaders will consider a range of factors when putting students forward and no student will be ruled out of the opportunity.
Students will be rewarded for being Student Receptionist – they will receive a certificate in their Learning Village Assembly and will have the opportunity to be chosen as Student Receptionist of the Month by the Academy Team.
