Excitement surrounds our 6th Form Open Evening taking place on Thursday 1st December 2011.

6th Form students joining our Academy in Autumn 2012 will be the first to benefit from our £22.5 million New Building with the latest IT equipment and Science & Technology facilities!

Numerous opportunities are open to Academy 6th Form students; already this year, 6th Form students have visited Kenya to meet Olympic athletes and Germany to take part in a mock-United Nations conference! 6th Form students are currently taking part in a Mock Trial with the Criminal Justice System and working to highlight the worldwide importance of an education for all young women through their 'Send my Sister to School' campaign, which included a well-received presentation to MP Richard Fuller. Further excellent skills for student CV's and University applications are gained through the Academy prefect-system whereby students are delegated key responsibilities for Academy policies and systems.
