In addition to Level 3 courses, students will also have the opportunity to retake GCSEs in English and Mathematics should they wish to improve their grades. Our Sixth Form Sports & Dance academy allows students with a passion for football, basketball and dance to further develop as athletes/performers alongside their Level 3 qualifications. Students are timetabled training sessions, strength and conditioning sessions, analysis sessions and matches/ performances. SUPPORT AND EXTENSION Students’ individual needs are well supported and benefit from a range of interventions, including additional curriculum time for Literacy and Numeracy lessons. Many students successfully complete qualifications in home languages other than English and are encouraged to do so when they are ready.We also encourage students to complete other qualifications early where appropriate, so that they can continue to challenge themselves with higher levels of study.
