OFSTED grades Bedford Academy as Good

Bedford Academy is delighted to announce that following a short Ofsted inspection on May 14th 2019, the school has been graded as Good.

OFSTED commented that, “the leadership team has inspired confidence among staff because they understand your vision and they want to play a role in making the school a better place for pupils to learn.”

Chris Deller, Head Teacher said, “We are delighted to maintain our Good status and pleased that the inspectors commented on a number of positives. The message to students and staff is that the hard work really begins for us all now, so that we can achieve an Outstanding category that staff, governors and the HEART Academies Trust aspire to. We want our school to be the best in Bedford, enabling all students to have a positive and successful education and our relentless focus on high standards and good relationships will ensure that we are moving towards this long term goal together.”
