As part of Bedford Academy’s on-going commitment of encouraging full community involvement, its excellent facilities are available for hire outside of normal school hours. The school’s accessible location, flexible facilities and ample parking make it an ideal venue for a wide range of activities and events; from conferences and seminars, theatrical and musical events, exhibitions and meetings, to regular training sessions and sports tournaments.

Facilities available include:

Main Hall

A versatile space with a capacity of 350 or 240 on retractable tiered seating. The hall is fully equipped with modular stage, specialist lighting and sound technology.

Drama Studio

A perfect space for drama rehearsals with adaptable staging, lighting and black curtaining.

Lecture Theatre

Ideal for presentations, seminars  and briefing events, the theatre has fixed tiered seating for 90 and is setup for conference use with projector and screen.

N.B. Both the Drama Studio and the Lecture Theatre open-up onto the Main Hall to create one large versatile space.

Atrium

Adjacent to the Main Hall this large, airy and light Atrium offers a flexible space for a wide variety of functions.

Classrooms

Ideal for small meetings, workshops and training sessions. All classrooms are fitted with projectors and whiteboards and are available in a range of sizes.

Recording Studio

Full of industry standard equipment to produce professional quality recordings.

Sports Hall

With larger than average floor space the Sports Hall presents an excellent arena for a variety of sports including five-a-side football, basketball, netball, table-tennis, 2-net-lane cricket and 5 badminton courts.

Activity Studio

A large performance space with sprung flooring, wall-mounted mirrors, ballet barre and blackout curtains ideal for dance and fitness classes.

• 1 Full-size 3G itch (available to book as quarter 5v5, half 7v7 or full size 9v9 or 11v11)
