I joined Bedford Academy as Deputy Headteacher in September 2024, bringing a wealth of school leadership experience with me, following a successful career in a range of schools in Bedfordshire and London. With a deep passion for education and a commitment to fostering academic excellence, I am passionate about driving improvement and supporting students to reach their full potential. I am excited about working collaboratively with staff, students, and the community to build on the school's strengths and help guide it on its continued journey to success.

I have a degree in English Literature from The University of Sheffield and a PGCE in Secondary English. Recently, I achieved the NPQH (National Professional Qualification for Headship.)

In my spare time, I enjoy staying active and creative through a variety of hobbies. I try to stay fit by playing in a women’s netball league and taking adult tap dance classes and love going to the theatre and to live music events.
