I first started at Bedford Academy in September 2014. Prior to this, I was lucky enough to be the last cohort of GTP trainees, which enabled me to train in a secondary school environment in Physical Education. From there, I worked in a pupil referral unit teaching BTEC Sport and Functional skills, before finally gaining a place as a Teacher of PE at Bedford Academy. During my time at the Academy, I have been Achievement Leader in Sport, Head of Year for Year 12 and 13, finally ending up as the Head of Sixth Form.

Outside of work, I love to spend as much time as possible with my 4 year old daughter. We enjoy time at the park, swimming, colouring and reading. My other passion is rugby, where I am the first team coach and player of a local team in Northampton.
